Does anyone notice slippage in their US short term systems? Seems to be entering on the open

for example

Short FIVN
My Lmt – 166.35
My entry – 166.35
Open – 166.54
Didn’t get the open

short PYPL
My Lmt – 198.46
My fill price – 202
Open – 202.30
Didn’t get open again

These are tiny positions ($1000) while i am test trading so it’s not a size issue

Another Bath in the WTT account today with only 60% invested… it is a aggressive system in volatile stocks so a bit to be expected. next few days will be interesting

TOTAL ACC: -6.13%

Rough start with the WTT but looking at some of the charts i was entering i wasn’t that surprised, but in saying that anything can happen and if they took off it wouldn’t have been the strangest thing to happen in 2020!

Been test trading a long/short moc in a small account and i am going to transition some of my AS MR funds to this. Lately the missed trades in the ASX MR have really hurt returns. Hopefully i can get a US MR up and going and fully transition short term systems to the US.

Hi Omar,

In RT you can use the BarNum function for the bar issue.

eg. (from the mr_sample system)

Uptrend: c > avg(c, min(BarNum, 150)) // close is greater than 150p MA or the number of bars available
