ScottMcNabParticipantwhich is USD though
ScottMcNabParticipantI wonder if any of the new fundamental data in NDU would help these type of rotational systems ? Add debt/equity ratio or growth rate etc to the ranking system ?

ScottMcNabParticipantOr maybe just use it to drop the worst 100…reducing SPX to 400 …should help potentially with selection bias too
All based on the premise that some stocks don’t mean revert as “well” as others…which may not be trueScottMcNabParticipantMaurice Petterlin wrote:.short term pullback to get into a longer term trend ?Not sure what you mean Scott, but stops impact the performance so I don’t use them. I use the stale stop instead
The system is in an uptrend (close above 100 MA) and then waits for a pullback (close below lower BB) to enter…..during the mentor group phone call recently this was suggested as a possible set up for an entry to a trend following system…so same entry but use a trailing stop to let it run….?
ScottMcNabParticipantEver try it with a trailing stop Maurice ?…short term pullback to get into a longer term trend ?
ScottMcNabParticipantThere was,for me,so much more to the course than the LMS…the LMS content was almost like the framework or road map which then allowed me (or guided me perhaps if I continue that analogy) to stumble across all the things I didn’t know that I didn’t know. This in turn required much of Craig’s time (coding) in the first half and a lot of Nick’s time (API/market order types and structure/VPS etc) in the second half. Without the input from the mentors I would not be trading. I would have gained knowledge but not enough to actually trade a system live. So without the mentors…it would be on the shelf with Howard Bandys books..interesting but not a game changer…with the mentors then those thousands of dollars become the best investment I have made to date.
I am trying to say that I think the mentor’s input makes all the difference in a course such as this.
ScottMcNabParticipantwin rate drops 0.5-1%
ave profit/loss drops approx 0.05%
CAGR drops 2-3%
maxDD increases 1%getting closer to reality it would seem
Thanks again Said
ScottMcNabParticipantOther thing I just remembered that helped me was all the posts that Said had in his progress journal for a MRV…. with different entries, exits…so if you get a spare hour its probably worth going through that with a pen and paper and jotting down some ideas to test out as inspiration comes along
ScottMcNabParticipantI think starting with Nicks systems of 3 lower lows (is it called second income or is that another one?) is a great basis to start from…then need to then try and modify it so not trading same system as the rest of the world ….maybe mix it in with RSI or atr filters etc
ScottMcNabParticipantActual results for March :+2.4%

ScottMcNabParticipantUS MOC for March: +11.2%
