Has anyone found a need or benefit to continuing to run TWS and OrderClerk (OC) on a VPS after converting to RT and OC?

I may be slow seeing this as another benefit of switching to RT as canceling the VPS pays for RT by itself.

I have been running a Lenovo laptop for about a year and it was a big upgrade in speed over my old desktop. 14″ is very slim and easy to travel with, I find the build quality more robust than the Dell’s I bought for my college students, but I may have gone too cheap on their’s. They have no complaints about the Dell’s.

Digging in to converting to RealTest now that I am back home from a 4 week work trip on the road. ChartVPS made it a breeze to travel and trade at the same time, just wish the market would get in sync with my systems.

Same message today on backtest and exploration, but otherwise everything is normal, backtest is match actual trades.

The lesson that comes to my mind is avoid “trading experts” without data to support their expertise.

In God we trust and everyone else brings data.

Stellar results in a very challenging year Terry. 

Appreciate you sharing the family situation as we are going through my parents’ estate distribution at the moment, as they were both hit by the metaphorical truck within the last year and a half.  I’m learning a lot about what not to do and what to do to make things as easy as possible for my kids.  I feel like I could write a book when we are done.  The experience is making me value much more having those uncomfortable conversations about their wishes, pre-planning arrangements, assigning beneficiaries, setting up property in a trust, etc. …  and now I am finding all the small pieces that were not addressed.  All of this has motivated me to put together a similar instruction booklet.  I may label the book in big bold letters. “Read this first if I get hit by a truck.!”
