US MOC -0.2%
US MR (not trading, using 200ma of equity curve, currently below 200ma
US MOMO +3.7%
TLongterm -0.07%In case anybody interested I have 4 other stock portfolios. I use a 50/50 mix of CXO Advisory momentum and value portfolios(up 12.3% for the year)
I recently added Tom Bowley’s model and income portfolios(in earningsbeats.com.) Both portfolios have stocks with great earnings that technically are in uptrends held for 3 months at a time. Since last Nov model portfolio up >45%.Bottom line my investments are at new equity highs for the year.
LEONARDZIRParticipantNick,
I am in the US as you know but would be glad to speak to him.
LenLEONARDZIRParticipantMike,
Probably I wasn’t clear. I don’t do discretionary trading. My systems are all systematic and automated.LEONARDZIRParticipantMike,
I don’t know if this helps but I am trading several short term trading systems. It takes me <10 minutes every nite to load all my orders. I can rifle through the charts of all my entries for the next day in under 2 minutes. I briefly check my IB prior to the open to make sure I am still online.
The potential for income generation is difficult to ignore.LEONARDZIRParticipantJuly 2019

Will our answers be reported by you to some regulatory body or are they for your personal consumption?LEONARDZIRParticipantJune 2019
USMOC +3,2%
USMR -0.02%LEONARDZIRParticipantVery cool platform. I like the idea of hedging the nasdaq100 rotation strategy instead of being all in or out with a filter as a way of tamping down volatility. Nick I believe you have mentioned hedging for the Trade long term portfolio. Are you still researching the idea?
LEONARDZIRParticipantAlvarez mentioned that the R3000 is an excellent universe for mean reversion.
LEONARDZIRParticipantYes looking at a larger universe but get excellent results with my MOC with the R3000. Basically higher CAR but higher MDD compared to trading R1000.
LEONARDZIRParticipantTim,
I think all of us can relate to your experience with your drawdown. It is almost guaranteed that when you start a new system it will go into drawdown and the drawdown will be greater than anything in your backtest.
I have been in the mentoring program coming up to 3 years. I have gone through several significant drawdowns each making me question my systems. I have hung in there and have arrived at a place where I am comfortable with my results. I have gotten pretty automatic with my trading. It has taken me 3 years to arrive at this point.
If your systems match your personality , Nick and Craig have given the ok for your code and it backtests to your satisfaction, you will make money.
I have found that very simple systems make money. The coding and developing a system are the easy part. The hard part is the psychology of trading ,namely sticking with the system when it is most painful. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck with your trading.LEONARDZIRParticipantnot sure how the emoji sneaked in there.
LEONARDZIRParticipantMay 2019 results.
