Hey friends,
Imagine I made one of those “UNCLE SAM WANTS YOU” images with the big finger pointing, but replace the text with the following:
Have YOU seen Matthew’s Twitter where he posts weekly screenshots of his STT output?
Have YOU wanted to do the same but get annoyed at having to click the next spreadsheet after each upload?
Have YOU wondered what your monthly statistics were but couldn’t find an option on the dashboard to filter by date?
Have YOU wanted to just shift click 20 sheets and have STT import them all by itself?
Well, there is a tool for that.
If you have python installed, then you can `pip install pandas` and then `python merge.py` to execute. If you don’t want to install python, you can use the .exe, although it is about 60x larger.
How to use:
A dialog box opens up. Select the IB trade export files that you want to merge.
Another dialog box opens up. Select where you want to save the merged file as, and the filename.
If you want to always save the merge as something in particular, look at the last lines of the .py file and comment out line 24 and uncomment line 25.
Is there a thing that makes IB shorts not work with STT? I am noticing something from Dustin’s thread. I can code this in as well if someone will let me know. I like keeping STT for the statistics. Cool stuff.
