UK SIPP Traders?

Hey guys,

Any of the British crew here trading a SIPP?

My wife and I have finally got around to sorting out our UK Pensions and right now there is no way to repatriate them so I figured I would have a go at getting a system up and running.

If anyone is doing it I would appreciate some pointers… If not, I’ll take notes along the way.

Hi Michael – one option is to setup a SIPP with an administrator that supports Interactive Brokers accounts. There are constraints around what you can trade so probably best suited for long only rotational and trend following systems. I don’t believe you can take short positions in a SIPP. Heard a brexit related rumour that IBUK moving to Europe or Ireland ..anyone had any correspondence regarding this please ?

They moved all accounts to other countries in the EU
