TWS Trade Log Not Showing Trades

This week, Trade Log was only showing 1 leg of some trades for my MOC system, and not showing any trades for other stocks I was filled on. I got onto a tech guy at IB who stepped me through the following process to rectify the situation:

1) Close TWS
2) Go to This PC: C Drive: Jts/dcmhscxttj
3) Delete the trade logs for the last few days (e.g. for Tuesday’s trades I deleted the file TUE.trd)
4) reboot TWS and go to Trade Log. All should be OK

FYI, I’m still having issues with the Trade Log generating historical trade reports for anything further back than 2 sessions. It’s supposed to give you trades back 7 sessions….can anyone share how they download trades further back than 7 sessions in a format that’s up loadable into STT?

Did you roll back to the ‘stable’ version? Mine works ok.

I would uninstall and then go to their website and reinstall version 963.3

I notice that you can only go back 7 days in Trade Log to download trades. Would like to know is it possible to download trades beyond 7 days in a format that is the same as the download you get through Trade Log. I know you can create a custom report in account management, but the formatting is a pain in the arse.

I think it is not possible from TWS to get more than one week, as you said you need to get it from account management
