Hi Said

The file is working well, just one minor thing I have found is that when I import the trades the Exchange column doesn’t change from NYSE to ASX even when I have updated the “Market” field under the controls tab. It is easy to do manually but just thought i’d let you know.

The reason is that i hard coded the exchange name

i tried in the beginning to use the exchange name from IB report but they were not accurate

I will modify the code and make option to select the exchange in this case no need to modify manually

When you choose AUS in the drop down menu the exchange will be ASX and when you choose US it will be NYSE

Does it matter if the trades are spread over two days Said ? US market kicks off in the night here and closes in the morning so buy and sell signals come up as occurring on different days.

If you untick the box “write trades in local time zone” it should be ok… maybe?

I think it doesn’t matter of the buy is on one day and the close is on another

Thanks. When I export trades for a day it is a mix of buys and MOC from previous day (6am here) and buy orders for next open (11.30pm). I was thinking there may have been a filter or change that you were making to TWS to sort the trades into the correct date that I hadn’t found. Easy enough to sort manually but thought it was worth checking.

It removes the dates from the download.

You can also filter the trades in Trade Log and then export the displayed report

Either IB changed their commissions or I did not see this before
recently i noticed that there are few cents difference between the commissions calculated in the TWS to Share tracker file
today i found out why:
FINRA Trading Activity Fee USD 0.000119 * Quantity Sold

I modified the file to add the new additional commission
