Two IB TWS ease of use recommendations

Hey friends,

I was on the verge of setting up an autohotkey script to automate some things, but they both can be done in IB TWS themselves. Unsure if they are both new or I had not noticed until recently:

One – change from daily logoff to daily restart. The daily restart does not require a login until Sunday. That setting is easily found in Configuration -> Lock and Exit

Two – automate daily trade exporting. Don’t use too close to market close – I’ve seen a MOC taking 5 minutes after 1600 for it to fill.
You can set the same columns as STT instructs in their FAQ and it will work fine.
