I was trying to workout why i missed a short in TKAT last session (insufficient shares available) and IB chat put me onto a handy tool which i hadn’t used before the “Audit Trail” tool.

Go to Classic TWS > Account > Audit trail

A little tip for someone if it helps

Was test trading my tweaked US moc this month and I am happy with the current setup. Started full size on the 28th so will report stats at the end of May

Was looking better on the MOC until a nice little clip by THYT. Still happy with the executions etc

I don’t look at completed trades very often but i was scrolling through some today. PPK.au really kicked on after i exited! It would’ve been a nice one to still be in!

Bugger…. Yeah, would’ve been a good one to be riding for sure…. It’s really taken off….

If it makes you feel any better, my WTT generated a buy signal for PPK.au on 30/4 and entry would’ve been @ $8.30…. but I was already 100% invested elsewhere etc….

It’s probably a sign that the next stop $100 for PPK.au….

A pair of ‘Diamond Hands’ would’ve be nice for your trade Trent

Hi Trent,
I’m a newbie still going through program and was wanting to do a short term system on ASX. You seem to be the only one doing it?? I was thinking something along the lines of Double 7’s strategy or 2 Period RSI (Larry Connors style) or even Dr Alex Elder’s Impulse system. Was concerned some say edge has gone from these systems (on google) but you seem to be making something work on ASX.
Would you be willing to offer any guidance please?

Also beta testing a US MR, been a quiet start so far. Hopefully it will pick up some more trades this month so i can see how everything is going. There was too much deviation in my long/short MOC for my liking so i switched to a long only MR

I’ve been battling the mind the last 18 month in regards to under performance and feeling like i have been making bad decisions in my trading. Probably mainly due seeing everyone else’s awesome results and a ripping market.

But after chatting with Nick and a few others i think i’m on the right track, just have to stay on course and keep pushing buttons ( Hey Mike!). In 2019 i had a good year +30% so i just need to ride this period through and hopefully my time comes.

Yep. I’m grateful for the beating I have taken. I know that means I am one less beating closer to winning!

For context… out of 29 months of trading, I have spent 7 with my head above water.

The total return for my NDX system in 29 months is approx 3%.

But it all checks out and is explainable. So after such drawn out drawdown (below my initial capital) I feel at peace and can just get on a trade.

I guess winning would feel better though
