Ouch, was looking good about feb 20. Bit nervous holding over this weekend was happy to see that the dow didn’t close down 10% last night. Might reduce some position size monday… no doubt i’ll pick the bottom for this

on a positive, my Tesla FOMO has quickly evaporated. Interesting level here, short term bounce up to 500ish then retest the $370 is my guess

The thing that hurt my systm was the sudden hard sell off without much of a bounce, my exit is a close above a MA. The distance from the close to the MA was too far once the stock sold off hard fpr 2 or 3 days.

When the indexfilter comes on my entry criteria gets stricter currently but i tested when the filter is on a C > ref(C, -1) to exit. initial testing looks good!

I also did some testing Trent and found MOC helps too ….in case that works for yours too

got the little bounce (although went a bit lower first) now for a big push below support/200ma. Wonder if the 2018 low at $180 will get reached :ohmy:

Can someone explain why the market is going up? Especially in the US? All the officials/ experts even pump up Trump has been saying the next fortnight will be one of the toughest in modern history yet it rallies 7%… Strange

I think its very algo driven at the moment which is causing the large swings.

Would suggest that also it’s because the pain trade is to the long side – news flow and negative sentiment have led to heavy short positioning, particularly in retail….

From what experience I have this isn’t that unusual. I think Nick mentioned this earlier but you can see some huge rallies in a bear market. With that said, I wouldn’t have expected it to rally this much before turning around but when does the market ever do what you want?

Also, we will probably see some pump from the market because of all this money the govt keeps throwing at us. That is my 2 cents anyway.
