The data, good and bad, is already in your backtests.

These are my thoughts too Nick, hence why i’m still taking all signals. I think i’ll look into it a bit more before i make a decision.

Talkng about entries on the low of the day. I have missed two entries in SKI.au over the past few months on the low, the strange thing is that it is not a thinly traded stock, ave turnover 11M plus.

I’m using them. Too early to tell so far as I’ve only had a couple of fills. I haven’t missed one yet.

The conspiracy theorist in me is saying somehow bots are screening my orders and doing something that’s taking my trades lol. Done less trades this year than previous and has just been flat.

Mine is similar…..

Yesterday i ran my exploration, exported csv etc as per usual. Placed the trades no issues. No filled positions today

Tonight when i ran my exploration it said i had a fill in TCL.au, when i looked in IB and yesterdays csv i noticed i never even placed the trade. So yesterdays exploration didn’t pick it up. I re ran the exploration over yesterdays date and now it says there was a buy order for it. It is also showing another order that i never placed.

Anyone else seen this? How can i fault find that?

I had a similar experience back in late March that I mentioned in my progress journal Trent. Hasn’t happened since…still no idea how it happened…in the end I assumed it was human error on my part somehow
