Smart API – after upgrade not working anymore

Hello,
I just ran the suggested upgrade on the Smart API. Unfortunately, sending orders is not working anymore.
Am I the only one?

Mine is fine.

Try unticking ‘Modify Limit Price….” in the preferences tab and try again.

Else, send me your code so I can attempt to load orders to my TWS.

For now, I’m going back to the previous version 1.0.6.11. Modify the tick size is really adding value and I’d like to keep it. Hope there will be a solution coming up shortly.

Unticking “modify limit based on tick size” allowed my API to successfully executre trades last night.

My only question is we originally ticked that box for a reason, is there likely to be an issue going forward now that it’s un-ticked?

That was simply a quick fix last night to get orders in for the session.

A new fix is already available when you open the API next.

I’ve upgraded to v13. Unfortunately, it’s still not working. After pushing ‘Send orders’, nothing is happening.
In the meantime, I will carry on with v11 and hoping for v14 to work.

What stocks are you trading?

Uncheck the tick box again and the orders will load.

Russell 1000. There are a number of stocks trading by 5ct, The tick size feature is quite relevant for me. It works fine on v11.

Alternately you can change your code to do the rounding for you…

Mine still hanging/freezing.
Solved by de-ticking the rounding option.
Let’s hope an update can bring the rounding option back to life.

Assuming you have a watchlist of 5 cent tick size symbols:

W2 = InWatchListName(“US Five Cent”);
Tick = IIf(W2,0.05,0.01);

The “Name” must match your watchlist name exactly.
