Getting closer Trent…it’s hurting…apparently some setting that has to be approved by IB admin

So can now trade futures but not quite the setup was expecting..I thought IB would enable it in my RegT account but instead the umbrella Family and Friends Account has been converted into a RegT account

Taken long enough to get this far that not sure if should question….hmmm

Opened TWS tonight and was surprised to see that all the unfilled entry orders from yesterdays MRV (TIF = DAY) were still active in the API tab…no API was running and TWS had done it’s daily shutdown at midnight (VPS time)
So I shut down TWS and restarted it (still no API running) and the entry orders were still there.
Not seen that before

All back to normal tonight when launched TWS…TWS worked ok last night too after I cancelled the old orders …hopefully TWS just had a moment but I will continue to check are no remaining orders in TWS before load up each day

Scott could it be that 19th was a Holiday in US? The API in my experience doesn’t cancel orders on a non-trading day so they stay live in TWS.

worst drawdown is always in front of you ?

I started paper trading this ETF system at the end of 2017….hasn’t really enjoyed 2018 to date…made me think a bit harder about that statement
