Did it fix it for you Said ? Changing the currency settings had no impact for me…all good for all US markets (SPX,RUI etc) but all AUS( XAO,200 etc) are incorrect regardless of what currency I set it to. I let my AUS subscription expire a week or two ago but cant imagine that would cause it.

Just sync data, and restarted and now seems to be fixed

I also tried this and initial tests show CAR stays about the same but there was a drop in MDD…a lot actually. Seems to be similar to what others have reported.

Just for my conscious to be OK, please be careful if you are planning to trade this especially on the AUS market since liquidity is not huge enough and slippage on the exit can cause disasters for the system. the problem with the exit on the same day is that most of the profitable trades fall in the range of 0-0.5% profit so a bit of slippage will cause big difference between the backtest and the reality.

On the plus side sell market on close (same day) may benefit from greater liquidity than sell market on open (the following day)?

I think this needs to be traded with a small account to see what happens. That’s probably the only way you can know for sure what will happen. I hope it works cos if my code is right I adapted the recent collaboration linear regression system that gives me 30% CAGR and around 10% MDD which I’m well happy about.

Excuse my ignorance but doesn’t the closing auction help a great deal with this problem?

It does help, I do not know much about the closing auction and how it works but i was talking about the effect of slippage
