yes i continued to trade with leverage and normal position size, honestly this was the reason to almost recover the dip in February.
The main reason i decided to continue as it is because the number of signals are decreasing everyday and due to the high volatility the stretch is becoming further from the price.
the main reason for the good performance is gap down on the open

Hey Said,
We spoke a bit about FLEX reports from IB. I have mine configured to output almost the same as exporting the trade report from TWS, but not all values are identical. The columns are almost identical, however I can’t seem to get it totally correct.

I’m not sure if you are using these in conjunction with STT, if so, is this your setup? I see a few of my columns are not the same values such as
SecurityIDType | Buy/Sell | Quantity (negatives) | Order Ref (this column is blank)

edit: those last two “transaction type” “order type” were for testing, ignore those. Commission should be the last column.

You can use one of the ready reports, for example all fields. Before you import them to STT you need to manipulate the data to output whatever report you want. IF you want to import to STT you need to change to the structure that STT takes

In order not to confuse you or anyone, what i wanted to say that automation of the process of updating STT is possible and can be done. But not all automation are good automation. STT was not created to be used like this and this is why it became more like a complex thing.

I’m in agreement with you there, Said. The STT devs has really outdone themselves as far as creating a huge interface within the bounds of Excel and VBA. It would be awesome to see them develop a standalone program – maybe that is what they are doing re: Nick’s thread about their rebuild.

Yeah 11th was certainly crap. That was the largest down day for me too.
