Reporting ASX Short Sales

Has anyone gone down the path of having to report ASX short sales to ASIC done via IB ? It seems they require you to use something called their FIX protocol but I can’t seem to find anyone in Australia that offers access to the tool unless you’re a Commsec or something similar. What a classic case of bureaucratic BS
