Confession time – I went on holiday for the last 2 weeks of August. Traded whilst away. On one day whilst loading my trades (can’t remember the exact date), I noticed $AMC trading down about 35% in pre session trading and it was one of my limit orders. I scratched it. I know it was the wrong thing to do and I should have just rolled the dice. However, its been a rough ride recently, I was on a long overdue holiday and I just bottled it. Won’t make a habit of it I promise!

Considering it was $AMC it’s understandable. I had that a while ago with $BBBY but I left it in there and had a restless night. Completely unwarranted really but any of those stocks from “The Great Short Squeeze” are going to make you wary

2022 Performance

MOC Long 1 – +2.72%

Tough Year. However I am happy with my execution. I traded every single trading day and took every trade (with one exception when I pulled $AMC order whilst I was on holiday as it was trading c.-30% in pre trading. This was soon after hitting max drawdown in the summer).

Will carry on this year and revisit the short system (now with over a year’s out of sample data since I built it).
