my name is David from Germany.
Well, stock markets and trading was always fascinating to me since I was a teenager and I was in and out the markets over the years but never took it serious enough.
I studied mechanical engineering and went into the racing business where I am now working for about 10 years.
About 18 month ago trading got me again. I came across the market wizards, trend following and the CANSLIM stuff and tried to find an edge since then. But as my daily job is way too time-consuming i was only water treading and finally had to accept that this is not the way I could be successful.
As an engineer I think I need to get to the point where everything is proven through numbers and statistics and the personal ego has to be killed. Also I need something to trade without looking at charts. I love charts and their behavior and the game of judging them correct for the future, but I can’t handle to watch them all night after my normal job.
I hope I am now on the correct path for the future and will find finally my edge.
