New Starter from UK

Hey All,

My name is John (JC) – based in North West of UK.

Joined just a few days ago. Been investing /trading for a total of 14 years and depending on how busy I have been trading UK small caps and Investment trust.

I have a busy job, lots of travel (pre-covid) and 4 kids, so over the last 12 months have become increasing focused on developing my systematic method of end of day investing – mostly breakout but also some swings. With the aim of improving quality of trades/investments while saving time. Spent a long time working with my currently cloud based system (Sharepad) to develop an excel based fundamental + technical scoring system. But have struggled to get the system working perfectly due to inaccurate data, lack of back testing and just amount of copy and paste into excel (meaning it has turned into a weekend only system). Also struggled to get the process to work with shares without any historical data or good forecast data.

Looking forward to learning a huge amount over the next 6 months.
