New FY Performance Recording

Interested to know how people in here record their performance for systems that carry positions over from the 30th June into the next Financial Year?

Do you use a new copy Share Trade Tracker and simply record the closing prices of all existing long positions as ! June 30 as the opening price for the next FY? Any other software systems being used?

Personally I am using the same file for all the past years
Anyhow if you want you can generate the report for the FY when you want it will give all the trades in that year and will show the open trades.

Regarding making new sheet or copy it will not help in tracking the performance of the system since it will be split in multiple sheets just keep everything in one place
