Thanks all – sent error logs and examples to Norgate, they saw errors but didn’t know how this occurred. On their suggestion reinstalled all historic data from scratch, seems to be ok now.
One thing this has taught me – as it has happened to me before – it to always be suspicious of anything that seems out of place. Last time it was certain months in backtests giving very different results that alerted me, this time an excessive number of setups (it was high anyway, but I just started checking random tickers and found the error)
The concerning thing is that there was no other sign of anything wrong, or any indication the data was corrupt!
