Manual Trade Entry in TWS

Has anyone had issues with entering trades in the Classic version of TWS (Stable)? I’m having the following problems:
– Some ticker symbols are not loading (e.g. FMC) when I search for them in a fresh Order Ticket window (whilst in the Portfolio tab).
– in the Pending (All) tab, I was able to enter a couple of trades, but then it decided to disallow me.

I can’t load all my trades for the rotational system so I’m going to have to abandon it tonight and try again tomorrow.

Instead of manually entering a bunch of orders, has anyone tried using the TWS Basket Order functionality? I’d be interested if you’ve found it more efficient than keying multiple orders into a TWS Order Ticket window.

Why not use Smart API…that’s what its for!

Its for my once a month order placement for rotational system, placing MOO orders. I’m not an IT expert so was unaware I could use the same API that’s managing my MOC system, if that’s in fact what you are saying? If I can use it then I’m all ears about how to make that happen.

as far as i know bracket orders are used to attach stoploss and/or takeprofit orders to the original orders so it is not good idea to use them.

for rotational system normally they are not many orders so i just modify manually one of the CSV files that are used for the API and import the orders and send them
