You just need to change the internet time on the server.
January 4, 2017 at 4:21 pm #104529SaidBitarMemberI had the same problem on 30th of Dec the time was reset to GMT time.
So i tried to change the settings to synchronise from the internet, then I changed to synchronise from NTP server.i used this link

How to resolve incorrect time with Windows Domain Controller running as a VMware GuestI noticed my clock had been reset around 1st January (it may have happened earlier though)… have not have any issue before or since
On a sperate issue with my remote desktop connection to hostwinds:
I noticed my connection is now significantly faster when my desktop resolution size is set at 100% My previous setting of 125% created a very slow connection

That is very helpful. Thank you.My trading results for December:
US momo 3.58%
US MOC(SP500) 0%. Didn’t trade the last week.
I am 80% US momo and 20% US MOC.
My trading accounts have made new equity highs in November and again in Dec.
LenJanuary 9, 2017 at 3:41 am #106041LEONARDZIRParticipantJust changed my clock to synchronize with the nist servers. Went to the system clock. Then to change date and time. Went to internet time and changed to nist.gov server. And synchronized. Hopefully solves the problem of the server changing the time without notification
LenJanuary 26, 2017 at 6:47 pm #104530LEONARDZIRParticipantRandomly checked the VPS today and noted that I received a partial fill in one of stocks and the API had’nt placed an MOC order. Apparently you need a complete fill of your order in order for API to send MOC order.
Second time in 2 months that checking my trading platform intraday revealed problems that if not corrected could have cost me money.February 1, 2017 at 7:41 pm #104531LEONARDZIRParticipantMy Jan results.
USmomo 1%
USSPX MOC 2.1%Results not in Julians league but this is 3rd straight month of new equity highs in my trading accounts.

Ignore me Len…I was cheating
I added a new system and gave it the same amount allocation as the others, effectively leveraging my account. My results adjusted for that leverage are 3.68% for the total account, which is still pretty nice.
Results next month will be more inline.
February 9, 2017 at 8:56 pm #104532LEONARDZIRParticipantDecided to start trading an MR system on Russell 1000 in addition to my MOC SPX system but was completely stuck on how to install a second instance of batchtrader for the second account.
Levente went on my VPS and reinstalled both instances.
So this is a shoutout to Levente for the incredible service he provides for batchtrader.February 9, 2017 at 10:19 pm #106213ScottMcNabMemberLen Zir wrote:Decided to start trading an MR system on Russell 1000 in addition to my MOC SPX system but was completely stuck on how to install a second instance of batchtrader for the second account.

March 1, 2017 at 1:41 pm #104533LEONARDZIRParticipantMy Feb results

What rebalancing did you do Len?
March 2, 2017 at 12:17 am #106343LEONARDZIRParticipantNick,
In mid January I noticed I was underinvested and in comparison to the portfolio many of my positions were out of whack. So around the 3rd week of the month I rebalanced my positions to exactly match the model portfolio. When I calculated my returns from Jan 31 to Feb 28 I found the portfolio had appreciated about 4%. I am trading the portfolio pretty heavily in 3 accounts and the other accounts also went up 4%. I am not sure rebalancing is the explanation but it is the first time since Jan, 2016 that my returns have differed significantly from the model. -
