Just Arrived

Hi everyone.

Just started the programme with Nick & Craig last week.

Thanks to Nick, and Howard from London, in talking me through things in helping me decide to join.

I’m a “ping-pong pom” – originally moved to Perth WA in 2000, back to the UK in 2012, back to Perth in 2017, and then UK again in 2019!

And before you ask – “Never say Never….”

Ambition is to get to a NoosaPalooza event as soon as possible, off the back of a good system (or 2 / 3/ 4).

I’ve used Amibroker for a couple of years ( a REAL novice), and already in the 1st few lessons, learning things about AB that I wasn’t aware of.

I trade an ASX Rotational System at the moment with which I am very comfortable. I want to supplement that with other strategies / systems, hence why I am here.

Really looking forward to the process, and I can see from forum postings, that it has certainly helped other people.

Welcome! Quite the traveler! I returned to Aus about 4 years ago after 10 in London. Credit to you for being able to go back and forth so frequently!

Hey Michael – you’ll find lots of gems of info through the course and via help from the mentors. I’m about halfway through the course work myself, and have enjoyed [strike]all[/strike] most of the coding. I just finished looping… and my blood pressure has been looping that is for damn sure.

Cheers to you, and funny that you mentioned NoosaPalooza. I’m on the US East Coast and curiously googled “Noosa” the other day to see how far it was. Well, “it’s almost on the exact other side of the Earth” ran through my head when I looked at the map, and I double checked because I am a curious fellow. Not too far off… I’m going to agree on attending, but definitely off the back of a profitable system! Hah!

thanks for the welcomes guys – deep into the first sections, and already learning new stuff about Amibroker from Craig’s lead.

Unnerving to see the gap from where I am starting to where I need to get to, but achievable with guidance and help.

Now, back to to it!
