You say that a profit factor under 1.5 is a very difficult ask. What is an acceptable profit factor?

I appear to be net short of a few stocks. two worked correctly. It could be a timing thing as the two that worked are listed in deals done 2 days ago, but the incorrect ones are listed as 1 day ago.
When I looked before I went to bed it appeared to be OK but I didn’t check the portfolio page in TWS so I can’t be sure. Batch trader showed the buys as placed and the MOC orders issued.

Actually I have just gone back into TWS and I think I have been reading the reports incorrectly. I think it is because my computer is set to Sydney time and so when the clock rolls over midnight the reports containing the trade information spread over two days. When I imported them all into STT I’m all balanced and up 1.1%
Hoorah!!

I tried to place live orders for the first time today for my momentum system but TWS kept telling me I had no funds even though there was plenty in the account. Turns out my funds are in SGD and I was placing AUD orders so needed AUD in the account. Probably says that somewhere in the manual but who reads that

I tried and tried but it wouldn’t accept the order. I just switched some funds into US$ and A$ so I’m sorted now. Well until something goes wrong tomorrow that is
