I’m based in Sydney.
Age 46. Full time investor. Avid cyclist (both mountain and road).
I’ve been involved in investing for most of my adult life.
Have moved towards a more quantitative approach over the years.
Have refined my equities ideas, however have struggled with the stock selection process (as this is where I have applied discretion to the models) and thus not able to fully test my ideas for robustness.
In the last 12 months I’ve also been trading an intraday futures model with moderate success. I have been piggy backing of infrastructure developed by a friend. Ultimately I would like to be able to replicate the system and control all aspects, rather than outsourcing coding development and system integration.
