IB not allowing API to load MOC Orders

Hi All,

Anyone else having issues loading MOC orders on TWS with the API today? I’ve tried and failed several times in 2 different accounts (my own, and one I manage for others) each with separate and identical setups (speedy server/API/TWS etc). An error box pops up and TWS freezes and crashes without loading orders.

I had issues on wednesday & thursday last week (the API didn’t load all the MOC orders) which was strange as my setup has been working perfectly for ages. Not sure if the 2 are linked.

Would be very grateful for any pointers or if anyone else has had any similar issues.

No issues here…..

As a guess…..check the following:

If you’ve recently updated TWS….(or even if you haven’t)
In TWS:
Go to “EDIT” -> “Global Configuaration” -> “API” -> “Precautions” and make sure the option “BYPASS Order Precautions for API Orders” is ticked…..

That’s happened to me recently (i.e. I upgraded TWS and this was unticked and was stopping orders being sent)…..

Thanks very much for your message. Yes I have all those checked.

However I just tried again and orders went in fine!…. no idea what that was all about. Maybe some sort of IB maintenance thing.

I’ll keep an eye on it and let you know of any other funny business.

IB is doing some weird stuff at the moment.
1. All my orders are getting rounded to the nearest 100 shares. The only setting I can see for rounding is unticked. 
2. All groups I use drop out when I close down.
