In light of a few months of ‘weak’ attendance, I’m looking for feedback on the group calls please.
Is there are specific day that is best?
Require a different format?
Not meaningful?
Happy to listen to the recording only?
Too long?Any comments/suggestions are most welcomed. Thanks.
Nick

Being based in Europe, the group call occurs at 10.30/11 am in the middle of the working day.
To speak for myself , I either forget because of my schedule or too busy at the office.
I imagine for european chaps, to delay to lunch time or week end would increase attendance.
I was upset to have missed this month call as I had quite a bit of feedback to give after my first few month of live trading.
I really feel being part of a community and this call is great mean to keep the bond alive. I always listen to the recording.
Just my 2 c…
ThanksMarch 4, 2021 at 12:57 am #113079MichaelRodwellMemberI like hearing from other traders about the month they have had so I would like that to stay in some form. Perhaps the agenda could be broken out into a few different areas and add some focus on continual learning. Some ideas.
– the past month’s market action. What was going on, why and does it mean anything in terms of systems
– a systems design concept. Eg, index filters – new ideas, contributions from the group etc may be hit on some important basics that get forgotten in the heat of the moment
– a breakdown of something that’s working and why and/or something that’s not
I’ve missed the last few calls due to scheduling but plan to attend in the future.

But I do listen to the recordings and get value from the variety of discussions and backgrounds. I like the ideas that Micheal suggested:
-what’s working now for the current market
-success/failure with new ideas being tested
-discuss or test published strategiesMarch 4, 2021 at 6:58 am #113082GlenPeakeParticipantThe calls are definitely meaningful.
When I first joined the course, I listened to all of the saved recordings and found benefit and insight from the journey that others had taken.
I join the monthly call where possible, it’s good to keep in touch and provide/listen to the updates etc… it just so happened that last night’s call clashed with another booking I had to attend.

Maybe a poll on whether a weekend would be better?

March 8, 2021 at 11:26 am #113077AnonymousInactiveTime of day (GMT + 2) means I usually miss the calls.
I usually listen to the recordings, the past 3-4 months have been quite busy for me so besides my daily trading process, everything else “trading” has taken a back seat. I find the feedback on the calls good, even though I am not contributingApril 11, 2021 at 12:27 pm #113080johncollings24MemberI was not able to attend as I had a clashing meeting at workm the call was at 9am in the UK (This would have been my first attendance).
Someone stated there was a recording – but I have not seen a link for this.
Perhaps a reocrded session where we could submit a question in advance for those not able to attend would be good.
