Hi Everyone,
Stake in Australia offer $3 brokerage (shares beyond $30k are traded as a %). They do both US and ASX trades and for ASX shares are CHESS sponsored.
I looked at them a few years ago and dumped the idea because their shares were more expensive to buy than on self wealth.
Yesterday I checked a few ETF shares and the prices were the same as in self wealth…. I just need to check individual shares when my account is activated.
They also offer an SMSF option, which I am considering for all weather.
Costs – > $990 per year just for a share SMSF option. Plus ATO levy and ASIC company fees Works out to be $1314 p.a for a company as trustee of a trust structure.
Trades are $3 each (just checking if their share prices are the same as self wealth, because last time I checked they added a signifcant mark up that added up to $50-$80 per trade)
