ASX Weekly Swing Strategy – available now!

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve officially added a new strategy to our existing line-up of turnkey trading systems. Feedback has suggested weekly strategies tend to be popular because of their minimal workload. As such we’re introducing the ASX Weekly Swing strategy.

Like our other short term strategies, the ASX Weekly Swing Strategy looks for upward trending stocks that are also exhibiting an expansion in volatility. If the setup criteria is met, the strategy will attempt to buy any minor weakness.

It will place limit orders which remain in force through the week. Any executed orders will then be exited during the closing auction each Friday.

Our performance page simulates data using a leveraged version, and a non-leveraged version.

The ASX Weekly Swing Strategy allows the user to adjust a variety of paremeters without needing to be proficient in coding. A user can run backtests, generate signals and plot buy and sell signals on charts. Review system requirements here.

It also comes with instructions, including a video detailing the use of Interactive Brokers Basket Trader platform.

While this strategy was specifically designed for the Australian market, we have also found that it performs admirably on the Canadian market, but less so on the US market.
