Thanks Glen – really appreciate the reply and pointer. I can see why it is necessary now – just getting an update from Norgate is not enough to synchronise data etc you may have in Watch Lists and the like. So its not really a data error, its just warning you another step has to be taken to get your system in synch with the updated data.
So – follow up question – would there be any disadvantage in Automating the Database Maintenance as per the instructions you pointed to? That is, is there ever a time when you wouldn’t want maintenance to be carried out after a Norgate update?
