When I was a discretionary trader, I used this and it worked wonderfully. Whenever I would put in an entry order, I would always have a profit taker and a stop loss.
The way you do this is to first create your entry order, then before you send it, right click on the order, click attach, then bracket order. Then make sure everything is set as you want it (limits, stop loss, etc) and then you route the parent order.
This creates the parent order (entry), and once that is filled an OCO (one-cancels-other) is created. For the OCO, once one is filled the other is immediately cancelled.
