I had three trades not closed out in my MOC on Friday.

I checked with Levente and he told me the following:

I have checked the log and the app did place the MOC orders but the orders were rejected with the “No Imbalance. MOC/LOC orders are not allowed” message.

I did a little bit of research and found this page https://www.nyse.com/markets/nyse-arca/trading-info where a situation is described in which no execution can happen during the closing auction because the prices on the bid/ask side do not overlap, meaning there is no imbalance, so no orders can be filled.

So I’m guessing that the market was pretty thin on Firday due to the holidays and that’s why I didn’t get a fill. I’ll close them out on Tuesday.
