Total of possible trades

During the Mentor chat today Nick mentioned seeing a system recently that had 7,000 trades out of a possible 30,000.

How do you see the total possible number of trades?

Sure that Nick can answer better but I think you can see the number of trades by putting the number of positions high number such as 200 and position size 1% and set the trade skipping to 0
run backtest and it show the number of possible trades

You can then sort the data by date then copy the data and insert into a spreadsheet. Then use a pivot table to graph it.

Another thing i either set commissions to 0 or equity to something like 10000000 and 5000 per position with 200 like Said mentioned otherwise the commissions chew through you capital
